The price of a instrument lessons can range massively from teacher to teacher in Guildford, from as low as £15 per 30 minutes to £50+.

Price ranges such as the above can be for a variety of reasons, such as a teacher’s experience or whether the teacher has commercial rent to pay etc. Choosing group over private lessons will certainly help keep the prices down though.

The Music Works does not charge a per lesson rate, but chooses to have a simple, single monthly price to make payment more convenient for our members. Our members also receive a selection of excellent perks as part of their membership, such as not having to pay for course books and further discounts on our holiday workshops.

When choosing your next instrument teacher, we highly recommend that you check credentials and achievements to make sure theiy are the right fit for you.

This is why we simplify the process as much as possible by offering a free first lesson with no obligation to continue. This means that you have no risk and get a chance to see if we are the right fit for you and your family!

Group music lessons are the most affordable option we offer, and are for students aged 3 to 11.

We offer group music classes at our dedicated music school and also in local partner schools. Please answer the questions here to find the best place for your or your child’s lessons.

The Music Works Guildford is situated on the the fantastic Lockwood Day Centre site in Guildford (GU1), near Blue Spider Climbing and Ninja Warrior UK Guildford. Our music school offers a comprehensive music education experience in Guildford.

 

With fully-equipped music rooms, we provide lessons in a diverse range of instruments from Monday to Friday, 46 weeks per year.

You could also find The Music Works Guildford using the directions below:

 

1. At the Guildford Cathedral roundabout, take the exit Egerton Road.

2. Head South on Egerton Road for 0.2 miles (travelling towards the Tesco Superstore and Royal Surrey Hospital).

3. On the roundabout, merge onto the Guildford and Godalming Bypass/A3 via the slip road to London.

4. After 0.8 miles, take the A25/A322 exit towards Dorking/Bagshot/Guildford/Woking/A320.

5. On the Dennis roundabout, take the second exit onto Midleton Road/A25

6. Travel for 0.8 miles and turn left onto Woking Road/A320

7. Travel 0.3 miles until you reach another roundabout, at the roundabout, take the second exit and stay on Woking Road/A320.

8. Continue for 0.7 miles and continue over the roundabout by the Esso Petrol Station.

9. Turn right onto Moorfield Road.

10. Continue past Howdens for 0.2 miles until you come to Vauxhall FG Barnes, and then turn left onto Westfield Road.

11. Travel 0.2 miles and turn left into Lockwood Day Centre
