Is your child the next Rock Star!? Designed for students aged 8-13 that are studying at Grade 2 standard or above on drums, bass, guitar, piano (keyboard) or singing, this band workshop is a heck of a lot of fun!
Join us on a 5-day band workshop designed specifically for students with no experience of playing in a group setting.
Throughout the workshop we will focus on helping students develop the skills needed to play confidently and perform as part of a band. Band members will explore core musical elements such as rhythm, and ensemble playing, while learning how to listen and respond to others when learning and rehearsing the songs.
Students will have the opportunity to build confidence, improve their musical ability, and experience the enjoyment of making music together. By the end of the week, they will perform a short set in their bands to showcase what they have been learning to their parents!
