OUR ADMIN TEAM
The glue that keeps it all together, our amazing admin team are here to make sure that lessons everything works swimmingly! Whenever you call or email, one of us will be on the other end to help :)

CATHERINE
Catherine joined our Voices Choir in 2013. She loved the feel of the Music Works so much she started work as a member of the team in 2016, wanting to share her love of music and be part of the community feel she’d experienced at all of the local events the choir regularly attends.
Catherine has a background in Operations Management and has brought her wealth of experience to the role, streamlining many of our systems and processes set up in the early years.
She is very much a local girl (despite her northern accent!), living in Milford with children who attend the local school. Her interests include fitness, running and singing (although not all at the same time!). Her musical tastes are best described as varied but with a definite slant on 70s and 80s pop (or out of date, if you ask her children!).

PHIL
Phil joined The Music Works in 2018 as a Guitar teacher, but his instrument of choice is Bass! He has been involved in music for over 30 years, playing bass and guitar with a variety of bands, recording projects, and working in a variety of further educational settings.
For the past twenty years Phil has been involved in music education in a wide range of settings including 1:1 and group lessons, lecturing music in Further Education and numerous community music projects. Although still involved in live music Phil now spends the majority of his time helping with the smooth running of The Music Works, as a Director of the company.

PETER
Peter met original owner Kate back in 2002 when their children were at nursery. Chance had it that they shared a birthday, so joint parties followed and this was the beginning of a long and beautiful working relationship!
Peter joined the ‘Voices’ Community Choir in 2013 and by 2014 was working at The Music Works, running the reception and building on Saturdays. Peter’s Saturday shifts are things of legend, where coffee and cake are plentiful! They carry on to this very day.
Since 2020 Peter has become more involved in the admin team and now manages the building 5 days a week. If you have lessons at Milford Centre after school, you more than likely see Peter every week! When Peter is not putting a smile on our customer’s faces he and his wife Karen run a successful craft organisation, which have run yearly events for over 20 years.
Peter is a family man, raising three (now grown up) children and a dog. His interests are keeping fit, music, learning Spanish (badly), skiing, travelling when allowed and baking. His children say “Can we eat this or is it for your other children” i.e., Music Works staff
